Just Russel, a fast-growing consumer goods scale-up, is seeking a People Partner to build and execute scalable people processes. This is a hands-on, advisory, and strategic role reporting to the Operations Lead, combining HR execution with organizational development.
Key responsibilities include:
People Operations (primary focus): Own core HR functions including contract and compensation management, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and labor law compliance. Manage performance cycles (YERs, peer reviews, feedback), handle individual employee cases (performance, well-being, conflict, absence), and maintain HR systems and data (Officient, ATS, surveys).
Recruitment (20% of role): Coordinate recruitment for all company roles with a focus on quality over volume. Work with hiring managers to define roles, structure interviews, ensure fair decision-making, maintain candidate experience, and support onboarding.
Manager Support: Partner with the Operations Lead to advise team leads and managers on performance management, team dynamics, role clarity, and difficult conversations. Help leaders develop people skills while maintaining accountability.
Strategic Organization Development: Translate operational strategy into people priorities. Contribute to organizational design, role definitions, and responsibility clarity. Build and maintain career tracks, salary grids, and growth frameworks. Identify structural people risks and opportunities.
Culture & Ways of Working: Actively shape and protect healthy, high-performing culture. Translate company values into clear expectations and concrete behaviors. Support change and scaling initiatives with a people lens.
