Go1 is a global learning and development platform on a mission to help organizations deliver more relevant, timely, and effective learning. This is a hands-on People Operations Specialist role based in Vietnam, supporting 30+ employees across Engineering and Finance functions.
You will be the trusted local point of contact for all people operations matters in Vietnam, managing the full employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Vietnam's detailed and localized employment requirements. This role balances strong local ownership with collaboration across Go1's globally distributed People & Culture team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing employee documentation, labour contracts, contract changes, and local employment requirements
- Maintaining Vietnam's compliance calendar and coordinating annual/quarterly reporting obligations
- Supporting tax, social insurance, health insurance, group insurance, and employee dependent processes
- Working with local unions, government agencies, benefits providers, and external partners
- Supporting payroll preparation through accurate employee changes and benefits information
- Responding to employee requests across onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and general People Operations queries
- Maintaining accurate employee information in HiBob (HRIS), processing workforce changes, and producing reports
- Coordinating documentation requiring wet signatures and physical employee files
- Escalating compliance risks and blockers to global stakeholders
- Supporting employee experience initiatives including office activities and local engagement
Success looks like: In 30 days, you'll understand Go1's Vietnam employee lifecycle, compliance calendar, key vendors, and begin learning HiBob. By 60 days, you'll confidently run routine Vietnam People Operations including contract preparation, payroll coordination, and standard lifecycle processes. You'll continue building systems capability and developing knowledge to support broader global People Operations work.
You bring strong practical knowledge of People Operations and employment compliance in Vietnam, with experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, or similar roles. You understand Vietnamese labour contracts, local compliance requirements, tax reporting, social insurance, health/group insurance, unions, and local employment processes. Fluency in Vietnamese and professional English required.
