Finout is a cloud cost management platform trusted by major brands like The New York Times, Wiz, Elastic, SiriusXM, and Lyft. With $85M+ in funding and 100+ employees across Tel Aviv and New York, the company is scaling rapidly and seeking a People Operations Specialist to join its HR team.
In this hands-on role reporting to the VP of HR, you will own global people operations processes across Israel, the US, and the UK. Your responsibilities span the complete employee lifecycle: managing onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, leaves, and other transitions. You'll maintain accurate employee records and workflows in HiBob and other HR systems, serving as the primary support contact for employees with HR questions, benefits inquiries, and day-to-day people processes.
Key responsibilities include coordinating global payroll across Israel and the US, ensuring new hire information, compensation changes, status updates, leaves, and terminations are accurately documented and communicated to Finance on time. You'll partner with Finance and external payroll providers to resolve employee-related questions and ensure smooth payroll processing. You'll also own employee benefits administration across both regions, with particular focus on US benefits—managing enrollments, life events, terminations, and provider coordination.
The role emphasizes technology and innovation: you'll explore and implement AI-powered workflows and automations to improve efficiency and employee experience. You'll identify operational gaps, challenge existing processes, and proactively suggest scalable solutions. You'll also manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, candidate screening, and collaboration with hiring managers, balancing recruiting responsibilities with ongoing people operations ownership.
You'll need 4+ years of people operations, HR operations, or similar experience, with proven ability to own employee lifecycle processes independently. Strong experience with global teams (especially the US market), excellent English communication, and hands-on US benefits administration experience are essential. HR systems experience (HiBob preferred) and recruiting background are valuable. A bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field is required. The ideal candidate combines genuine passion for technology and AI with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
