8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building operational infrastructure for autonomous and non-autonomous rideshare fleets. The company is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead the strategy, development, and scaling of people technology, workforce analytics, and AI-enabled employee experience solutions as the organization expands across multiple locations.
The role combines HR technology leadership with data analytics and AI adoption. Key responsibilities include owning the strategy and optimization of people systems and related technologies, driving system adoption and data integrity, and partnering with Product and Engineering teams to automate workflows and enhance employee-facing tools.
The People Operations Manager will build and scale workforce analytics capabilities that support business decision-making, developing predictive models focused on attrition, talent attraction, internal mobility, workforce planning, and labor risk. This includes delivering dashboards, KPIs, and insights that enable proactive workforce decisions.
Leading AI strategy and adoption across the employee lifecycle is a core focus, including implementing AI-driven solutions for employee support, ticketing, self-service, and operational efficiency. The role identifies opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance the overall employee experience.
Cross-functional leadership is essential. The candidate will partner with People, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business Operations teams to prioritize and deliver workforce technology initiatives, leading large-scale projects from design through implementation and adoption, and influencing stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in HR Technology, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, Business Intelligence, or related functions, with 5+ years leading enterprise-scale people systems, analytics, or workforce technology initiatives. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or related field is required. Strong understanding of HRIS, ATS, ticketing systems, workflow automation, and workforce management platforms is essential, along with demonstrated success building and deploying workforce analytics dashboards and predictive models.
