Octopus Energy, France's 5th-largest energy provider in just 10 years, is seeking a People Data & Operations Specialist to join their innovative, fast-moving organization. The company operates as a "noHR" structure where HR responsibilities are distributed across managers and a lean People Ops team, rather than centralized in a traditional HR department.
In this role, you will be the data backbone of the People Ops function. Your primary focus is to structure, industrialize, and maintain HR data systems that provide managers with clear, reliable, and actionable insights into their teams' performance and health. You'll work on a diverse range of People Ops projects including tool deployment, process automation, documentation, compliance initiatives, and group-level strategic projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining HR data infrastructure and dashboards
- Developing analytics and reporting that empower managers to make data-driven decisions
- Implementing and optimizing HR technology tools and integrations
- Automating routine HR processes to improve efficiency
- Supporting compliance and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to HR administration and payroll understanding as needed
- Collaborating with managers across the organization to understand their data needs
You should have a strong technical and analytical mindset, comfort with data tools and systems, and the ability to translate HR challenges into data-driven solutions.
