Cyera is a rapidly growing data security platform company founded in 2021, backed by over $1.3 billion in funding and trusted by Fortune 500 companies. The company is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to join its payroll operations team in Tel Aviv.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end monthly payroll processes and day-to-day payroll operations, working collaboratively with HR, Finance, employees, and external payroll providers. Key responsibilities include:
• Support the complete monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely execution
• Collect, review, validate, and maintain payroll data in the payroll system
• Process payroll records for new hires, employee changes, and terminations, including Form 161 documentation
• Manage pension and benefit-related payroll data with ongoing reconciliations
• Review and process attendance, vacation, sick leave, and absence data
• Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, and control checks to ensure accuracy
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports
• Support preparation of regulatory and annual forms (Forms 101 and 106)
• Assist employees with payroll inquiries and provide professional support
• Identify payroll discrepancies, investigate root causes, and resolve issues
• Support payroll process improvements and automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Israeli payroll regulations
You bring 4+ years of hands-on Israeli payroll experience and at least 2 years working with the Hilan payroll system (Hilan Next experience is a plus). You have strong knowledge of Israeli payroll processes, labor regulations, taxation, social security, and pension requirements. You are detail-oriented, accountable, and service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Strong Excel proficiency and good English communication skills are essential. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
