As Payer Partnerships Lead, you will own the strategy and execution of Nourish's partnerships with leading health plans. You will manage a revenue-generating book of 5-10 top health plan relationships, serving as the single point owner for strategy definition and partnership playbook execution. Your responsibilities include designing and driving the company's health plan strategy, building trusted executive networks with payer leaders to create internal champions, designing and closing transformative value-based care deals, and articulating Nourish's value proposition compellingly to VP and C-suite audiences. You will also serve as the "voice of the payer" internally, translating commercial insights and real-time feedback to inform product, clinical, and growth strategy across cross-functional teams.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Nourish's Flatiron office in NYC, with expectations to work on-site 3-4 days per week and some remote flexibility. Occasional travel is expected for conferences and priority payer meetings. The role requires someone who thrives in 0→1 environments, values speed and learning, has strong executive presence, and can influence at the VP and C-suite level.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience in highly strategic roles (e.g., management consulting, business operations)
- Extra points for commercial/go-to-market experience or healthcare/payer knowledge (not required)
- Energized by 0→1 work and ambiguity; comfortable building structure and clarity in undefined spaces
- Strategic thinker who values speed and learning; comfortable testing ideas and iterating based on signal
- Strong commercial mindset and executive presence; ability to craft compelling narratives and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience building strong client relationships (consulting, strategy, partnerships, GTM, or high-growth startup environments)
- Operationally excellent; able to manage high volume of moving pieces and competing priorities with strong attention to detail
- Highly collaborative and cross-functional; able to work effectively across partnerships, growth, product, clinical, and operations teams
