Salary: USD 250,000 - 300,000 / annual

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America by combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing for aerospace and defense companies. The company helps customers build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. Following a $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding its manufacturing footprint and scaling its Factory-as-a-Service platform. You will serve as the technical backbone of Hadrian's finance and accounting technology stack, leading the design and deployment of AI agents to automate accounting and finance workflows. While housed in the accounting department, you will act as a shared resource supporting the Finance organization on systems and automation initiatives, serving as the primary liaison between accounting/finance and internal engineering teams on home-grown tooling. Key responsibilities include: - Leading accounting transformation through systems and automation initiatives - Owning project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and executive-level status reporting across multiple initiatives - Optimizing NetSuite (GL, subledgers, workflows, saved searches, SuiteScript customizations) and Salesforce (quote-to-cash, CPQ integration points relevant to revenue/billing), and internally developed systems - Identifying, designing, and deploying AI agents and LLM-based tools to automate manual accounting processes such as reconciliations, close tasks, variance analysis, journal entry preparation, and reporting - Partnering with engineering teams on home-grown internal tools used by accounting and finance, translating business requirements into technical specifications - Building and maintaining integrations between NetSuite, proprietary systems, and other internal tools - Supporting the Finance Department with systems, reporting needs, dashboards, data pipelines, and ad hoc automation - Driving cross-functional alignment across Accounting, Finance, Operations, Product, Engineering, Solution Architecture, Internal Controls, and implementation partners - Evaluating and piloting new AI and automation vendor tools; building business cases for adoption - Documenting processes and maintaining system controls in coordination with SOX and audit requirements - Training accounting and finance staff on new tools and workflows REQUIREMENTS: - 7–10 years combined experience in accounting/finance operations and systems administration, including leading implementations, transformation initiatives, or enterprise systems projects - Demonstrated experience taking ownership of projects from planning through execution, testing/UAT, training, and go-live - Demonstrated hands-on experience building or deploying AI/LLM-based automation (agents, workflow automation, RPA, or similar) — not just "AI-curious" - Strong understanding of accounting processes (close, reconciliations, revenue) sufficient to identify automation opportunities - Comfort working directly with engineers on technical requirements and integrations - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Computer Science PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, with ability to communicate complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influence decisions - Background in high-growth tech or manufacturing environments - Scripting ability (Python, SuiteScript, or similar) for light automation and integration work - Active CPA Note: This role requires U.S. citizenship or national status, lawful permanent resident status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State due to ITAR compliance requirements.
