Axle Energy is building software infrastructure for the decarbonised energy system, controlling hundreds of thousands of energy assets by optimizing vehicle charging, heating systems, and home batteries to shift energy usage to times when electricity is cheap and green. The company operates at high speed in a legacy industry, backed by leading investors including Energize Capital and Accel. The Partnerships role is a multifaceted, client-facing position with a strong technical component. You will own the full partner lifecycle—from onboarding through account expansion—serving as the primary conduit for Axle's B2B2C growth. This role requires strong commercial instincts, pragmatic problem-solving, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics without getting stuck in bureaucracy. Key responsibilities include: - Owning client relationships from onboarding to account expansion, ensuring partners unlock full value from Axle's products by aligning technology with their evolving needs - Providing go-to-market insights on user propositions, communication strategies, and market positioning - Managing post-implementation relationships after go-live, driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to deepen engagement or grow accounts - Acting as a conduit between partners and engineering teams, creating fast, structured feedback loops that translate field insights into meaningful product enhancements - Creating scalable processes and designing scalable products across diverse customer segments - Making data-driven decisions and improvements, both internally and externally The company operates with a deliberately flat structure and equitable pay philosophy (1:1 median ratio between founder and team compensation). Benefits include meaningful equity, enhanced parental leave, bi-annual retreats, and hybrid working with a dog-friendly office near Farringdon. You'll be expected to spend 2–3 days per week in the office to maximize collaboration. Requirements: The posting does not explicitly state years of experience or formal qualifications. However, the role requires strong commercial instincts, client-facing experience, technical acumen, and the ability to manage complex partner relationships and cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams. Experience in B2B partnerships, account management, or similar client-facing roles in technology or energy sectors would be relevant.
