Via is transforming transportation globally through technology. The Partner Success Manager role on the Via Student Transit team is a ground-floor opportunity in one of the company's fastest-growing verticals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for school district leadership and transportation directors, building trust-based relationships while driving service quality, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
• Build and maintain trusted partnerships with school district superintendents, transportation directors, and operators, understanding their priorities and challenges through empathy and responsiveness.
• Analyze daily, weekly, and long-term transit performance data to identify operational improvements, enhance routing efficiency, and strengthen student safety outcomes.
• Lead contract renewals and service expansions by understanding customer goals, negotiating complex agreements, and growing year-over-year adoption and revenue across your partner portfolio.
• Champion partner needs internally by collaborating with product, operations, deployment, and marketing teams, bringing the customer perspective to drive meaningful improvements.
• Deliver clear, compelling presentations and operational updates to diverse audiences—from school boards and superintendents to frontline transit staff—adapting communication style to each audience.
• Establish best practices, success metrics, and operational workflows that enable exceptional partner experiences as the Student Transit vertical scales nationally.
This is a quota-carrying role requiring approximately 50% travel to meet customers on the ground and support service launches across the country.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience in sales, business development, customer success, account management, consulting, or B2G/education technology.
• Comfort with operational data analysis; ability to extract insights and translate numbers into strategic narratives.
• Self-starter mentality with ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; talent for translating complex operational models into clear, compelling concepts.
• Willingness to travel frequently and take ownership of service launches and on-the-ground representation.
• Mission-driven mindset around modernizing student transportation and improving education access. Prior experience in transit, education, or public sector is a plus; curiosity and resourcefulness are essential.
