Via is transforming transportation globally through technology. The Partner Success Manager role on the Via Student Transit team is a quota-carrying position focused on bringing safe, efficient, and flexible transportation to students across the U.S. This is a ground-floor opportunity in one of Via's fastest-growing verticals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for school district leadership, transportation directors, and operators. Your responsibilities include: • Building trusted, durable relationships with school district leadership through empathy, responsiveness, and deep understanding of their priorities and operational challenges. • Analyzing daily, weekly, and long-term transit performance data to identify what's working, spot challenges, and provide actionable recommendations that improve routing, student safety, and operational efficiency. • Leading contract renewals and service expansions by understanding customer goals, negotiating complex agreements, and driving year-over-year adoption and revenue growth across your partner portfolio. • Championing partner needs internally by building strong partnerships with product, operations, deployment, and marketing teams, bringing the customer perspective to strategic discussions and advocating for improvements. • Delivering clear, compelling presentations and operational updates to diverse audiences—from school boards and superintendents to frontline transit staff—adapting your communication style to each audience. • Establishing best practices, success metrics, and operational workflows that enable exceptional partner experiences as the Student Transit vertical scales nationally. This role requires approximately 50% travel to meet customers on the ground and support service launches in cities across the country. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience in sales, business development, customer success, account management, consulting, or B2G/education tech. • Comfort with operational data analysis; ability to extract meaningful insights and translate numbers into clear strategic narratives. • Self-starter mentality with ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity; proactive problem-solving. • Excitement about taking ownership of service launches, coordinating across teams, and representing Via confidently and empathetically on the ground. • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills; talent for translating complex operational models into simple, compelling concepts. • Mission-driven mindset focused on modernizing student transportation and improving access to education. Prior experience in transit, education, or public sector sales/customer success is a plus; curiosity, resourcefulness, and willingness to learn are most important.
