Salary: USD 177,000 - 236,500 / annual
Hex is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to build and scale the technical enablement function for its SI/consulting partner ecosystem. This is a ground-floor opportunity to design and own the partner program from the ground up, rather than maintain an existing one.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and own technical enablement curriculum for SI/consulting partners, including certification tracks, hands-on workshops, sandbox environments, and reusable reference assets
- Build and maintain a partner-facing demo library enabling partners to run independent Hex demos
- Run technical onboarding for new partners, including kickoff enablement, joint solutioning sessions, and architecture reviews to accelerate partner competency
- Deliver live and recorded trainings, workshops, and recurring office hours to scale partner self-sufficiency
- Serve as technical point of contact for top partners on complex or strategic deals, providing proof-of-value support, architecture design, and technical objection handling
- Produce partner-facing technical collateral: solution briefs, implementation guides, best-practice docs, and demo scripts
- Channel technical feedback from partner engagements back to Product and Engineering to close capability gaps
- Track and report on partner enablement health metrics (certifications, demo-independence, time-to-first-deal) tied to partner-sourced pipeline
You will wear many hats, move fast, and have significant ownership over building the infrastructure and processes that don't yet exist. The role requires hands-on fluency with SQL and Python, experience designing training curricula from scratch, strong live-presentation and demo skills, and working knowledge of the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Fivetran). You should have 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture, ideally with prior experience enabling channel, SI, or consulting partners. Travel is approximately 25-30% for partner enablement sessions, workshops, and field events.
