Datadog is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to support its Pan-EMEA Global Systems Integrator (GSI) channel. This role bridges Datadog's product expertise with partner success, enabling cloud migration, application modernization, and DevOps transformation initiatives.
You will report to the Director of Partner Solutions Architects and serve as a trusted technical advisor for Datadog's partner ecosystem. Key responsibilities include:
• Onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources
• Joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and partner technical teams
• Supporting partner technical initiatives: customer demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and best-practice coaching
• Advocating for partners' technical concerns (use cases, feature requests, support issues) with internal Datadog teams
• Analyzing partner service offerings and recommending enhancements through greater Datadog feature adoption
• Collaborating with product management, engineering, and technical services to identify and prioritize new capabilities
• Curating and evolving best practices for platform adoption and customer success
You bring 10–15 years of experience in customer or partner-facing technical roles, with solid hands-on IT development and operations background. You are a self-starter with strong business acumen, confident presentation skills, and the ability to articulate Datadog's value from technical to executive audiences.
Desired technical expertise includes two or more of: observability platforms (Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, Dynatrace), public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), dev/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef), or CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
Bonus qualifications: prior experience supporting channel partners (SIs, MSPs), hands-on use of Datadog or cloud monitoring tools (APM, infrastructure, logs, synthetics, NPM), and root-cause-analysis/troubleshooting expertise.
