Datadog is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect for the ANZ region to serve as a technical expert supporting the company's channel and alliance partners. This role sits within the technical solutions team and reports to the Director of Partner Solutions Architects.
You will be the trusted technical advisor for Datadog's partner ecosystem, responsible for enabling partner success across cloud migration, application modernization, and DevOps transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources
- Joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and partner technical teams
- Supporting partner technical initiatives including customer demonstrations, proofs of value, and enablement workshops
- Advocating for partners' technical concerns (use cases, feature requests, support issues) with internal Datadog teams
- Analyzing partner service offerings and recommending enhancements through greater Datadog adoption
- Collaborating with product management, engineering, and technical services to identify and prioritize new features
- Curating and evolving best practices for platform adoption and success
You bring 10-15 years of experience in customer or partner-facing technical roles, with solid hands-on IT development and operations background. You are a self-starter with strong business acumen, able to articulate Datadog's value from technical to executive audiences. Desired experience includes observability platforms (Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, Dynatrace), public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code tools, and CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience supporting systems integrators or managed services providers is a bonus, as is hands-on experience with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
