Chainguard is a venture-backed software supply-chain security company that delivers hardened, secure container images and developer tools. The company partners with Fortune 500 enterprises and global leaders including OpenAI, Snowflake, and Canva.
As a Partner Solutions Engineer for Technology Alliances, you will own the technical side of strategic partnerships with cloud providers, CI/CD platforms, container registries, and security tools. This role combines hands-on integration work with relationship-building to align two engineering organizations around shared roadmaps.
Key responsibilities include:
**Integration & Architecture**: Design and help build technical integrations (APIs, SDKs, plugins, marketplace listings) between Chainguard and alliance partners. Architect reference architectures and solution patterns that demonstrate end-to-end value, including demos and proof-of-concepts for sales teams.
**Partner Relationship Management**: Serve as the primary technical contact for named alliance partners. Align with partner engineering and product leadership on roadmap priorities, technical dependencies, and joint architecture reviews. Represent partner needs internally to Chainguard's product and engineering teams.
**Enablement & Go-to-Market**: Create technical documentation, playbooks, and workshops for partner SEs and field teams. Run joint webinars and technical briefings. Manage technical requirements for cloud marketplace listings (AWS, Azure, GCP) and co-sell programs.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work at the intersection of solutions engineering, product, and partner go-to-market. Support technical validation in partner-sourced and partner-influenced deals.
You'll engage with vendors across the cloud-native ecosystem—CNAPP platforms, CI/CD tools, artifact repositories, container and Kubernetes vendors, and observability solutions—to embed Chainguard's secure-by-default software into the tools developers already use.
