Tanium is seeking a Senior Partner Marketing Manager to own the marketing strategy and execution for its strategic cloud alliances with Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud. This is a high-impact senior individual contributor role with direct accountability for pipeline generation.
You will serve as Tanium's primary marketing counterpart to partner marketing teams at all three cloud providers. Key responsibilities include: building joint annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned to each partner's co-sell and marketplace priorities and Tanium's pipeline goals; negotiating and managing Market Development Funds (MDF) across all three partnerships; combining MDF with Tanium's budget into coordinated, funded investment plans; and owning the full MDF lifecycle from proposal through claims, compliance, and ROI reporting.
This role is built for a modern, AI-fluent marketer. You will design integrated physical and digital campaigns that generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for Tanium's telesales team, with accountability for MQL volume and quality, MQL-to-SQL conversion rates, and partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline. You will tune the funnel weekly with telesales, own the lead handoff process, and carry the numbers end-to-end.
You'll plan for visibility in AI assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) alongside traditional search channels, treating physical and digital programs as one integrated plan with one pipeline metric. This requires building trusted relationships with partner marketing, field marketing, and partner development teams; owning quarterly business reviews with partner leadership; and defending investment strategies with data.
The role requires hybrid work at one of five US office locations (minimum three days per week on-site).
