Onebrief builds collaboration and AI-powered workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. As a Partner Engagement Manager, you will serve as the customer's trusted technical partner and subject-matter expert, maintaining power-user-level fluency in the platform. You will act as the primary line of communication between customers and Onebrief, translating product updates into practical impact for specific military workflows. Your core responsibilities include clearly communicating user needs to the product team, identifying gaps between existing directorate workflows and effective Onebrief usage, and driving adoption through hands-on configuration, user coaching, and workflow optimization. You will lead or support military planning exercises, respond to incidents by coordinating between customers and product engineering teams, and provide ongoing role-specific training to ensure users adopt new capabilities. You will use observations of users to recommend product improvements and help expand Onebrief's presence to allied and partner organizations. Additionally, you will align efforts across fellow Partner Engagement Managers to ensure planning and workflows remain synchronized across commands, while navigating large government organizations and solving bureaucratic challenges. The company is a distributed team with members working remotely and others embedded directly alongside customers in operational environments worldwide. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven experience leading operational planning within a military context, preferably at multi-star headquarters - Exposure to large staff planning through Professional Military Education or service experience - Familiarity and experience with major military planning exercises and protocols for software deployment on classified networks - Proven ability to expand business presence within a customer location with emphasis on software or technology solutions - Experience in customer support (face-to-face and remote) and capability to respond to incidents coordinating with customers and product engineering teams - Strong technical skills to master the application, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with customers on technical matters - Proven ability to navigate large government organizations, solve bureaucratic challenges, and deliver successful outcomes - Current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and ability to access DOD facilities and installations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Technical aptitude and ability to become a power user of the product and communicate with engineering teams - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop rapport, align diverse perspectives, and communicate with clarity and influence - Deep commitment to the mission - Proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving, comfortable working autonomously or in cross-functional teams in fast-paced or ambiguous settings - Clear, concise, and candid communication skills
