Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. As a Partner Consultant in Accounting, you'll be a technical expert and trusted advisor working directly with channel partners (accounting firms, VARs, PE firms) and their clients to deliver world-class product expertise and workflow guidance.
You'll partner with Channel, Partnerships, Sales, and Product teams to advocate for product development aligned with customer needs. You'll collaborate with Partner Managers to showcase technical accounting features through customized demos, enablement materials, and training. You'll help partners build service packages and identify opportunities for advisory or managed services, developing solutions based on deep understanding of Ramp's integration and configuration options.
Key responsibilities include architecting and validating custom API-based integrations between Ramp and third-party platforms, supporting partners in design, build, and testing. You'll support Sales and Post-Sales teams in executing advanced technical and accounting implementations alongside channel partners. You'll evaluate customer requirements for new partner opportunities through use-case analysis, ROI assessments, and technical evaluations. You'll also create and maintain technical assets and internal knowledge bases of customer use cases and best practices.
You'll need 6+ years in Partner Architecture, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing roles implementing business SaaS solutions. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting, or related field is required. You must have strong communication skills translating complex technical solutions into business value, experience in channel sales with SIs and ISVs, expertise in API architecting between finance software, and proficiency in IdP, HRIS, ERP solutions, and accounting systems. Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, strong engineering and system design skills, and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment are essential.
