Intuit is building a net-new VAR (Value-Added Reseller) channel for its mid-market product lineup, and this Partner Activation Manager role is central to that effort. You will own the complete partner journey from contract signature through their third closed deal, at which point they graduate to ongoing management by a Partner Development Manager. The role operates in two simultaneous modes: program builder and player-coach. In the early stage, you will design and stand up a structured certification program across four domains—marketing (positioning, demand generation, co-marketing), sales (discovery, qualification, objection handling, closing), demo (product demonstration of QuickBooks Advanced, IES, Services, and Intuit Agent Studio), and implementation (onboarding methodology, technical setup, customer handoff). You will leverage Intuit's existing learning and development assets as the foundation, adapting and extending content for mid-market VAR resellers. You'll define certification standards, assessment criteria, and pass thresholds, and build the on-ramp playbook that takes newly signed partners from agreement execution to certification completion. Simultaneously, you will work directly alongside newly certified partners on their first sales opportunities, acting as a player-coach: joining discovery calls, supporting demos, advising on deal strategy, and co-presenting where needed. You will help partners navigate Intuit's internal resources—product specialists, solution architects, deal support—to accelerate early deals and build confidence. After each deal, you will debrief with partners to reinforce learning, identify skill gaps, and adjust your coaching approach. You drive each partner to their graduation threshold of three closed-won deals, then execute a clean handoff to the assigned Partner Development Manager. You will maintain accurate tracking of all partners in the enablement pipeline, report regularly to leadership on cohort health, activation rates, time-to-first-deal, and graduation throughput, and identify systemic blockers with recommended solutions. You will collaborate closely with the VAR Channel Recruitment Manager to ensure seamless handoffs and consistent partner expectations. Required: 10+ years in partner enablement, channel sales training, or related role in SaaS/enterprise software. Demonstrated experience designing and delivering partner or customer-facing enablement programs—not just executing existing content, but building or significantly adapting curriculum. Strong sales coaching ability: you have helped others sell, not just sold yourself. You are comfortable on deals alongside partners and effective at transferring skills in real-time. Experience working in or alongside a channel sales or partner management function, with clear understanding of what it takes for resellers to successfully bring new products to market.
