Human Interest is a high-growth fintech company on a mission to make retirement benefits accessible to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States. Backed by major investors including BlackRock, SoftBank, and TPG, the company has raised approximately $500 million to date and is transforming the retirement industry by making it affordable for SMBs to offer employees retirement savings plans. As a Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, building, and amplifying referral relationships with key partners in the SMB ecosystem, including tech partners, human capital management (HCM) platforms, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors. Your primary focus will be to engage and develop Human Interest's key accounts and growth opportunities, accelerating partner relationships to help the company reach more small and medium businesses nationwide. Day-to-day responsibilities include: - Developing and building strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities - Proactively identifying and resolving emerging issues by working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams - Collaborating with Partner Marketing to execute unique initiatives promoting partner sales, such as educational events, webinars, and email campaigns - Working with partners to establish business goals, performance metrics, and go-to-market strategies - Managing sales pipelines and driving revenue generation through partner channels You will need 2+ years of experience building and maintaining relationships with tech, HCM, and financial services partners in the SMB space, with a proven track record in quota-driven sales environments. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated relationship builder who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates exceptionally well, and can operate independently while being coachable and solutions-oriented. Salesforce experience is preferred. This role requires the ability to be in the field 3 days per week and be located in the San Francisco area.
