As a Partner Account Manager, you will be the strategic relationship owner for Human Interest's key partnership channels. Your primary responsibility is to develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, HCM platforms, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space. You'll create and execute strategic referral networks focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities, working to exponentially expand Human Interest's reach across the United States.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining deep relationships with tech and HCM partners, brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors
- Creating strategic referral networks and identifying new partnership opportunities
- Proactively identifying and resolving emerging issues through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance
- Collaborating with Partner Marketing to execute initiatives like educational events, webinars, and email campaigns
- Establishing business goals and performance metrics with partners to develop effective go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities
You bring 2+ years of experience building and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners in the SMB space, including territory sales and business development. You thrive in quota-driven sales environments, operate independently as a motivated individual contributor, and excel at relationship building. You're solutions-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable getting hands-on with operational partnership issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential—people trust you and sense your genuine advocacy. Salesforce experience is preferred. You're coachable, embrace feedback, and maintain a growth mindset. The role requires being in the field 3 days per week and being based in Phoenix.
