As a Partner Account Manager, you will be the primary driver of Human Interest's partnership strategy in your territory. Your core responsibility is to engage, build, and develop key accounts and growth opportunities by cultivating referral relationships with tech partners, HCM platforms, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space. You will create and amplify strategic referral networks focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners, brokers, and advisors
- Creating strategic referral networks and partnerships for lead generation
- Identifying and resolving emerging issues through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance
- Collaborating with Partner Marketing to execute initiatives like educational events, webinars, and email campaigns
- Establishing business goals and performance metrics with partners to develop go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities
You bring 2+ years of experience building and maintaining partner relationships in the SMB space, with a proven track record in quota-driven sales environments. You are a self-motivated individual contributor with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, are solutions-oriented, and can operate independently while being coachable and growth-minded. Salesforce experience is preferred. This role requires 3 days per week in the field and you must be located in Orange County.
