Human Interest is a high-growth fintech company on a mission to make retirement benefits accessible to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States. As a Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, building, and amplifying referral relationships with key partners in the SMB ecosystem, including tech partners, human capital management (HCM) platforms, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors. Your primary focus will be to create and build strategic referral networks that drive lead generation and new partnership opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tech and HCM partners, brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors
- Create strategic referral networks focused on lead generation and partnership expansion
- Identify and resolve emerging issues through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams
- Partner with Partner Marketing to execute initiatives such as educational events, webinars, and email campaigns
- Establish business goals and performance metrics with partners, developing go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities
- Manage sales cycles and track progress using Salesforce
You bring 2+ years of experience building and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners in the SMB space, with a proven track record in quota-driven sales environments. You are a self-motivated individual contributor with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of operating independently while thriving in a fast-paced environment. You are solutions-oriented, resilient, and coachable, with a growth mindset and willingness to embrace feedback.
This role requires being in the field 3 days per week and being located in the Bronx, NY area. The position offers the opportunity to work on a mission-driven company solving one of the country's biggest challenges—closing the retirement savings gap for working Americans.
