As an Outbound Business Development Representative, you will be a core member of the sales pipeline generation team, responsible for creating qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives. Your day-to-day work involves prospecting into mid-market and enterprise accounts across diverse industries, conducting account and contact research, managing a territory of accounts, qualifying prospects, and brokering introductions between AEs and prospective clients.
You will execute an account-based go-to-market strategy, balancing high-value account focus with high-volume outreach (100+ calls weekly via Nooks). You'll develop deep product knowledge across Envoy's suite and build a unique perspective on the workplace and visitor management market. The role serves as a talent pipeline for future Account Executives, offering clear internal promotion pathways for high performers.
Key responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for prospective customers, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and BDR Management to deliver excellent customer experiences, and mastering Envoy's tech stack including Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Nooks, and ZoomInfo. You'll work 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) from the San Francisco HQ in a hybrid arrangement.
Ideal candidates demonstrate prospecting ability into mid-market/enterprise accounts using multiple tactics, excellent time management, entrepreneurial mindset, superb written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and autonomy. Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo is preferred. You should be intellectually curious, ambitious, interested in building foundational sales skills, and enthusiastic about the technology industry.
