You will join as an Optical Systems Engineer, taking a hands-on role designing and developing next-generation laser spectroscopy systems. This position requires significant lab experience building and troubleshooting complex electro-optomechanical systems. Your core responsibilities include:
• Design and develop optical architectures for laser spectroscopy instruments
• Conduct optical alignment work and precision mechanical design
• Use data collection and analysis to guide design decisions and improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability
• Develop new alignment methods and manufacturing processes for spectroscopy products
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to translate designs into manufacturable products
• Troubleshoot and optimize complex optical and mechanical systems
