Zūm is seeking an Operations Recruiter to manage high-volume hiring for hourly school bus operations roles across multiple locations. This role is central to scaling Zūm's operations as the company continues to expand its Connected Mobility Experience (CMX) platform, which serves over 6,500 schools and coordinates student transportation at scale.
You will own the full recruiting lifecycle for operations and driver positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. The role requires driving efficient recruiting processes, leveraging recruitment technology and tools to streamline workflows, and ensuring a smooth, positive candidate experience throughout the hiring funnel. You'll work cross-functionally with operations managers and regional teams to understand hiring needs, forecast demand, and build talent pipelines.
Key responsibilities include: managing high-volume recruiting campaigns; optimizing job postings and sourcing channels; conducting initial phone screens and coordinating interviews; tracking metrics and reporting on hiring performance; building relationships with candidates and hiring managers; and continuously improving recruiting processes to reduce time-to-hire and improve quality of hire.
The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume recruiting, ideally in operations, logistics, transportation, or similar fields. You are comfortable with recruiting technology platforms, data-driven decision making, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are essential.
