Fuse Energy is a well-funded energy startup ($200M+ raised from top-tier investors including Balderton, Accel, Lakestar, Creandum, and others) building an integrated energy company that combines solar, batteries, grid infrastructure, AI, and distributed energy solutions. The company operates a direct-to-consumer model to reduce costs and pass savings to customers.
You will be one of the founding team members launching Fuse's new business unit in Ireland, based in Dublin. This is a ground-up build role with significant ownership and autonomy. You'll act as a Swiss army knife, handling whatever is needed to scale the business in this new market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up core operations for the Irish business unit, including processes, systems, and vendor relationships
- Owning critical launch workstreams end-to-end and driving them to completion with minimal direction
- Building the operating rhythm, reporting structure, and KPIs that keep the business running smoothly
- Working across commercial, regulatory, finance, people, and customer functions as priorities shift
- Identifying bottlenecks quickly and implementing solutions, whether through process design or hands-on work
- Managing relationships with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders across the Irish market
- Serving as the link between the Australian team and Fuse's global leadership in London
- Leveraging data and AI tools to improve decision-making and eliminate manual work
This is a fast-paced, demanding role offering huge ownership, direct exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to shape how Fuse operates in a brand new market.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Up to 5 years of experience in a demanding environment
- Strong academic record from a top university in a STEM subject
- Evidence of hard work and high standards
- Exceptionally driven with high agency and a track record of making things happen
- Very sharp problem solver who can break down messy, ambiguous challenges
- Comfortable operating without structure and building it as you go
- Clear communicator who can work with stakeholders at every level
