Rohlík Group is one of Europe's fastest-growing online grocery platforms operating across Czechia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and Romania. The Operational Excellence team drives continuous improvement, process standardization, and innovation across Last Mile operations.
In this role, you will own the design and delivery of a 3–6 month continuous improvement roadmap for last mile operations. You will lead adoption of group standards, embed best practices, and deliver sustainable improvements in delivery efficiency, cost per order, and on-time performance. You will partner with central and local stakeholders to identify bottlenecks in the last mile flow—from route assignment and loading through delivery—and roll out scalable solutions across sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the last mile improvement roadmap and ensuring initiatives are delivered on time
- Owning initiatives end-to-end, including group-wide projects: framing the problem, building and defending the business case, running pilots, measuring and evaluating impact, and scaling solutions across sites
- Leading adoption of operational best practices in loading, routing, and delivery through coaching and influence
- Partnering with group-level development and performance management teams and local site teams to coordinate projects and performance
- Reading problems in both real operations and data, distinguishing true causes from noise, and turning fixes into standards
- Documenting processes (VSM, process maps)
You will work in a hybrid model: three days in the office in Prague, two days working from home. The role requires willingness to travel 2–3 days per week across sites.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of operational experience owning projects or programs in last mile for retail
- Strong leadership and coaching capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical thinking: ability to define metrics, read data, and separate cause from correlation
- Project management experience
- Willingness to travel 2–3 days per week across sites
Preferred:
- Background in e-commerce, grocery, or same-day delivery
- Six Sigma and/or project management certification
