BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming healthcare through precision diagnostics in prenatal and cancer care. This field-based Oncology Account Executive role covers the San Diego North territory (Temecula/Murrieta) and reports to a Regional Manager - Oncology.
You will drive revenue growth for BillionToOne's Northstar liquid biopsy products by building relationships with oncologists and cancer care providers in your designated geography. Key responsibilities include prospecting and cultivating new business with individual oncologists, maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts, and implementing a business plan to accelerate revenue growth in your territory. You'll combine consultative selling with logistics coordination and problem-solving to meet the needs of medical professionals.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and a demonstrated track record of sales success (Presidents Club, Chairman's Club, Rookie of the Year, or consistent quota attainment). Required experience includes selling to medical providers and expertise with medical diagnostics, devices, or surgical products. You must live within the defined territory, be centrally located to accounts, and be willing to travel within your region. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
Alternatively, candidates with clinical backgrounds—Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, or Registered Nurses with experience ordering late-stage cancer liquid biopsy tests—are also considered.
Compensation includes a base salary of $170,871–$186,949 annually, uncapped commission (significant upside potential), and generous equity.
