Salary: USD 168,346 - 311,536 / annual
BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming healthcare through precision diagnostics in prenatal and cancer care. We're seeking a field-based Oncology Account Executive in Fresno to drive sales of our Northstar liquid biopsy products to oncologists and cancer care providers in the region.
You'll be responsible for increasing revenue and market development through direct sales to individual oncologists, creating and implementing strategic business plans to grow revenue in your geography, and managing prospecting, new business development, and key account relationships. This is a field-based role reporting to a Regional Manager - Oncology.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a demonstrated successful sales track record (Presidents Club, Chairman's Club, Rookie of the Year, or consistent quota attainment), experience selling to medical providers, and experience with medical diagnostics or medical/surgical devices. You must live within the defined territory and be centrally located to accounts, with a commitment to travel within the territory.
You'll need excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), effective time management with ability to prioritize opportunities, and strong interpersonal and analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate is exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to think strategically while executing tactically. You must act with urgency and focus on closing business, assess the needs of medical professionals with consultative sales expertise, and have a strong desire to work in a startup environment with internal drive for success.
Alternatively, we'll consider Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), or Registered Nurses (RN) with experience ordering late-stage cancer liquid biopsy tests.
Compensation includes base salary of $168,346–$184,186 annually plus uncapped commissions with significant earning potential, generous equity options, comprehensive medical benefits (100% employee premiums for select plans, 80% dependent coverage), 16 weeks paid family bonding leave, supplemental fertility benefits, 4% 401(k) match, and increasing PTO with tenure.
