Twilio is seeking an experienced New Business Account Executive to drive enterprise sales across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This is a remote-based role focused on acquiring high-value enterprise prospects and existing customers with ARR over €25k, while managing the full sales cycle from lead qualification through contract closure.
You will be responsible for new customer acquisition, account growth, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include creating pricing proposals, negotiating complex terms, managing contracts, and building trust with both technical and business stakeholders. You'll need to balance multiple priorities, handle complex deals with long sales cycles, and develop pipelines through direct sales, partnerships, and networking.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record closing complex, high-value deals (six to seven figures). You should have deep expertise in solution-based and consultative selling, strong negotiation and contract management skills, and experience working with Fortune 500 or similarly large enterprises. Experience selling cloud communications platforms, APIs, or enterprise software is essential.
Desired qualifications include familiarity with the CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) ecosystem, understanding of cloud communications (voice, SMS, chat, video), APIs and integrations, and telecommunications industry dynamics. You should be comfortable building relationships with C-level executives and cross-functional stakeholders in large organizations.
Twilio is a remote-first company that values diverse backgrounds and non-traditional career paths. While fully remote, you may be asked to attend occasional in-person team gatherings, functional off-sites, or customer meetings.
