Mirum Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on rare disease treatment, is seeking a National Field Sales Trainer to drive field force capability development and commercial execution. This role is responsible for field coaching, training reinforcement, and national-level strategy pull-through across the sales organization.
Key responsibilities include conducting field rides and coaching sessions with sales representatives to reinforce selling skills, messaging, and execution standards. You will observe customer interactions, provide actionable coaching, and identify development opportunities related to selling skills, clinical acumen, account planning, and customer engagement. The role supports a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
You will partner closely with the National Director, Area Business Directors, Marketing, and Commercial Training to support execution of brand strategy, field strategy, and national commercial initiatives. This includes helping ensure consistency of approved messaging across regions, supporting implementation of marketing campaigns and launch initiatives, and translating national direction into practical field applications.
A critical aspect of this role is providing meaningful insights and feedback to leadership regarding field execution and market dynamics. You will identify gaps in messaging, sales resources, training content, and field readiness, while sharing observations on customer engagement, competitive dynamics, and execution challenges. You serve as a feedback conduit between field teams and internal commercial stakeholders.
The role requires cross-functional collaboration, influencing without direct authority to drive alignment and field adoption. You will support meetings, workshops, and commercial events as needed. All activities must be conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
