Slip Robotics is a fast-growing robotic automation company delivering cutting-edge solutions for logistics and warehouse operations. The National Account Manager (NAM) owns the commercial success and long-term growth of an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, operating on a land-and-expand strategy.
In this role, you will serve as the primary customer advocate and strategic advisor throughout the contract lifecycle—from initial deployment and onboarding through ongoing optimization, renewal, and expansion. You'll balance customer satisfaction with commercial performance, driving retention while uncovering new opportunities to deepen engagement and expand Slip Robotics' footprint within each account.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the commercial relationship and overall success of assigned customer accounts
- Proactively prospecting for new opportunities within accounts (additional business units, sites, departments, or facilities)
- Identifying and developing expansion opportunities through upsell, cross-sell, and additional deployments, building account plans targeting sustained ARR growth
- Owning renewal strategy for your book of business, beginning outreach a minimum of 6 months ahead of contract expiration
- Leading customer engagements across the contract lifecycle, including deployment coordination, onboarding, training, and ongoing account management
- Serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, providing guidance on best practices and operational optimization
- Monitoring account health and performance KPIs, proactively addressing risks
- Partnering with Service Delivery, Product, and Engineering to ensure successful project delivery
- Analyzing customer workflows and operational performance to recommend improvements
- Maintaining strong relationships across customer organizations, from operational teams to executive stakeholders
- Managing account activity in HubSpot, including customer meetings, pipeline data, expansion opportunities, and renewal timing
You'll work cross-functionally with Service Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure deployments succeed operationally while continuously prospecting for expansion opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience strongly considered
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts in industrial, logistics, or technology environments, with a track record of growing accounts over time
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and generate net-new opportunities within an existing account base
- Strong understanding of warehouse, manufacturing, dock operations, or shipping logistics
- Experience supporting or deploying robotics, automation, or engineering solutions in customer environments
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to coordinate complex technical initiatives across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage technical, operational, and executive audiences
- CRM discipline with HubSpot experience preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50%
