Salary: USD 93,500 - 182,850 / annual
Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT) is seeking an experienced MSP Account Executive to drive sales and business development in the Managed Service Provider market. This is a high-impact sales role focused on recruiting, qualifying, and closing new MSP agreements while managing existing customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead sales management and business execution for the MSP business unit
- Develop and execute business development plans across Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams to achieve/exceed revenue goals
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior customer stakeholders
- Collaborate with Commvault's partner ecosystem (Alliances, SPs) to accelerate business growth
- Recruit and close new MSP agreements in named accounts, driving new and recurring revenue
- Develop go-to-market plans for MSP revenue expansion through channels and field sales
- Work with field and channel resources to promote MSP services to prospects and existing customers
- Articulate Commvault's value proposition to both business and technical audiences within MSPs
- Coordinate joint sales engagements with senior engineers and channel partners
- Present executive-level communications on sales metrics and strategies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of software sales experience with named accounts, SIs, ISVs, MSPs, or large enterprise accounts
- Proven track record developing new business within existing company infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement go-to-market plans for revenue expansion
- Ability to lead people and drive results through others
- Strong understanding of technology with ability to communicate value to prospects and partners
- Success in quarterly forecasting and revenue target achievement
- Understanding of service provider business fundamentals and GTM strategies
