Charm Industrial is a climate tech company on a mission to return atmospheric CO₂ to 280 ppm by converting excess inedible biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and injecting it into underground storage for permanent carbon removal. The company has scaled to thousands of tons of carbon removal, grown to over 100 employees, and operates three locations in San Francisco, Colorado, and Louisiana.
The MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) Analyst will own day-to-day responsibilities for measuring, reporting, and verifying carbon removal generated through Charm's bio-oil injection process. This role is central to ensuring reporting remains accurate, timely, and audit-ready as the company scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering, quality-assuring, and reporting data used by verifiers, registries, and stakeholders to quantify and credit Charm's climate impact
- Maintaining accurate records across reporting systems
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, development, materials science) to obtain required inputs on schedule
- Creating, maintaining, and optimizing GHG and project impact reporting packages
- Ensuring a repeatable, reliable, and efficient verification process
- Managing regular third-party verification audits
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role requiring comfort working across data and documentation systems and the ability to drive inputs from cross-functional stakeholders. The analyst will be trained by and work closely with Charm's MRV team day-to-day. The role is based in Fort Lupton, Colorado.
