As a Mid-Market Account Manager reporting to the Manager of Account Management, you will serve as a trusted advisor to a growing portfolio of mid-market clients. Your focus will be on managing renewals, retention, and engagement strategies while identifying and driving long-term growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, ensuring high engagement and satisfaction through regular reporting and proactive communication - Create performance reviews and curated action plans to help clients achieve and exceed their engagement objectives - Design and implement renewal strategies based on account health and risk assessment to meet retention targets - Manage the end-to-end sales process for upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your existing client portfolio, including identification, qualification, and closing - Optimize internal account management practices and contribute to departmental process improvements - Mobilize internal and external stakeholders to capture and amplify customer feedback, influencing product and process evolution - Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen advisor relationships and drive growth within the client base Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in account management, project management, or client services - Demonstrated track record of performance and success (top-tier company experience, rapid progression, community involvement, history of exceeding objectives) - Proven ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor - Strong project leadership skills with ability to mobilize internal and external stakeholders and organize task deliverables - Solid work ethic with proven time-management and prioritization capabilities to deliver results and meet deadlines - Required: Experience managing or collaborating with Human Resources, Operations, and/or Finance departments - Strong asset: Salesforce experience or background in the insurance industry
