Rubrik is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive for the Tokyo region to drive revenue growth across a portfolio of mid-market accounts. This role owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and opportunity identification through pipeline management, solution presentation, and deal closure. You will represent Rubrik to key accounts in Japan, managing end-to-end sales processes and collaborating with presales, SDRs, channel partners, and distributors to achieve quota and expand existing customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing sales plans for your territory; building and managing a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities; identifying and closing new growth opportunities within mid-market accounts; presenting Rubrik's data protection and AI operations solutions in complex datacenter environments; partnering with channel partners, distributors, and VARs on co-selling and joint strategy; and providing market feedback to management on local trends, business opportunities, and potential channel partners.
You will need 3+ years of enterprise software, SaaS, or IT infrastructure sales experience, with a proven track record of acquiring new logos from Fortune 1000–class organizations. Strong experience selling complex solutions, managing channel partnerships, and consistently exceeding targets is essential. You should be self-directed, thrive in matrix organizations, and embody Rubrik's RIVET values while contributing to a positive team culture.
