This Mid Market Account Executive role is based in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) with flexibility to work remotely from Germany or London, though regular client visits in the region are required (typically fortnightly). You will operate as a pure revenue leader responsible for 80–90% net-new logo acquisition through self-sourced pipeline, managing deal cycles ranging from €10k to €300k. You'll sell a complex suite of 15+ products to 8 different personas, including MDs and Finance Directors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and managing your own pipeline through constant prospecting and research
- Owning full-cycle deal management from initial contact through close
- Engaging multi-stakeholder buying committees and managing technical proof-of-concepts
- Developing deep understanding of diverse operational industries (waste management, food distribution, construction, etc.) to align Samsara's technology with customer pain points
- Leveraging elite sales enablement (Command the Message, MEDDPICC coaching) to sharpen closing skills
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 18 months in a full-cycle, outbound-heavy SaaS closing role with proven ability to build pipeline from scratch
- Track record of hitting and exceeding quota in competitive, complex sales environments
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder deal cycles and technical evaluations
- Native German language proficiency (required)
