Alice is hiring a Member of the Technical Staff to serve as the technical front line for enterprise and frontier lab clients in the Bay Area. This is a hybrid sales and solutions architecture role focused on AI security and trust & safety. Key responsibilities include: (1) Lead technical discovery conversations with frontier labs and enterprise clients, translating complex AI security requirements into executable scopes for delivery teams; own the top and middle of the sales funnel and handle technical objections in deep-dive meetings with elite engineering and research teams. (2) Build and nurture the frontier-lab community in the Bay Area through ~10 high-signal events annually, including closed expert sessions; represent Alice at conferences, analyst briefings, and technical talks to establish credibility and identify emerging needs. (3) Close the feedback loop between field and strategy by carrying market signals back to the CTO and product team; directly influence the AI Labs pod roadmap and security research priorities. (4) Serve as a pillar for Alice's West Coast presence—interview candidates for adjacent roles, support hiring across departments, and establish how Alice operates in the Valley. Required qualifications: 8+ years as a Principal Solution Architect or equivalent; deep, current understanding of AI systems security (agents, tools, orchestration, data flow, guardrails, red teaming, evals); working knowledge of how frontier labs procure from and partner with vendors; proven track record shipping research-backed products and generating revenue at scale; credibility with frontier-lab researchers; comfort as a public technical voice; Bay Area base with active network in Valley AI/security community; fluency working across Israel time zone. Nice-to-have: hands-on experience with RL post-training, GRPO, agentic environments, or eval harness design; prior tenure at a frontier lab, research organization, or vendor selling into one; experience as first senior hire in a new geography.
