Arena is a platform for evaluating how AI models perform in real-world scenarios, founded by researchers from UC Berkeley's SkyLab. The company helps tens of millions of users evaluate frontier AI systems, and its work powers evaluations used by leading AI labs, enterprises, and independent researchers. You will serve as a senior growth marketer responsible for defining and driving growth across Arena's products and business lines. This is a high-ownership role combining growth strategy, product thinking, analytical rigor, and hands-on execution. You'll identify Arena's highest-leverage growth opportunities, quantify their potential, develop strategies to capture them, and own programs from hypothesis through execution, measurement, and iteration. Key responsibilities include: - Identifying, building, and scaling growth programs across acquisition, activation, engagement, conversion, and revenue - Applying data-driven thinking and experimental design to understand growth drivers and inform investment decisions - Owning growth initiatives end-to-end: opportunity identification, KPI definition, strategy development, campaign execution, results analysis, and scaling decisions - Managing growth strategies across multiple channels including SEO/AEO, email, paid acquisition, web, programmatic growth, product-led growth, launches, and emerging AI-native distribution - Owning campaign and growth KPIs with clear measurement frameworks for incremental impact and business outcomes - Partnering closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and Marketing teams to turn opportunities into shipped experiences and scalable systems - Developing strategies for reaching distinct audiences: consumers, developers, researchers, AI labs, and enterprise customers - Translating product and company priorities into integrated cross-channel growth strategies - Building repeatable growth systems and processes that allow successful experiments to scale - Communicating growth strategy, performance, and insights to cross-functional partners and leadership - Balancing strategic judgment with execution capability—writing, analyzing, building, QA-ing, launching, and iterating as needed REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, product growth, performance marketing, or similarly analytical and execution-oriented growth roles - Proven track record of owning growth goals and driving measurable improvements in acquisition, activation, engagement, conversion, retention, or revenue - Demonstrated experience taking growth initiatives from opportunity identification and strategy through execution, experimentation, measurement, and scaling - Strong understanding of LTV, retention, monetization, and unit economics and how they inform growth strategy and investment - Experience owning KPIs and being accountable for campaign, channel, funnel, or business outcomes - Experience building and scaling multiple growth channels, with deep expertise in at least one area (SEO/AEO, paid acquisition, email, web, PLG, or programmatic growth) - Strong experimentation mindset with experience designing tests, defining success metrics, interpreting results, and translating learnings into decisions - Strong analytical judgment and comfort using data to diagnose growth problems, prioritize opportunities, and make decisions - Ability to move fluidly between strategy and hands-on execution; comfort defining growth strategy and getting into execution details - Comfortable operating in ambiguity, identifying opportunities independently, making decisions with imperfect information, and taking accountability for results PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience growing developer, research, technical, enterprise, or AI-native products - Growth experience at a high-growth startup or building a growth function or major channel from early stage - Familiarity with the AI/ML landscape and strong curiosity about models, agents, benchmarks, and evaluations - Experience building product-led and/or self-serve growth motions - Experience developing new or unconventional acquisition channels rather than only optimizing established ones
