Salary: USD 175,000 - 250,000 / annual
8090 Solutions, co-founded by Chamath Palihapitiya, is building a Software Factory that delivers fully-managed, hosted software purpose-built for enterprise customers. The company is modernizing the bloated software ecosystem by replacing legacy systems and building custom software for Fortune 2000 companies and public sector organizations.
As a Member of GTM Staff, you will own end-to-end complex enterprise deal cycles within one or two of five commercial verticals: Manufacturing, Life Sciences/Medical Devices, Financial Services, Technology/Media/Telecom, and Insurance. This is a high-agency role requiring near-complete autonomy and substantial revenue generation responsibility, with a clear path to Senior Member of GTM Staff and vertical leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full deal cycles from prospecting through contract execution and relationship maintenance
- Building relationships with customer executives and creating compelling business cases with asymmetric ROI
- Running technical discovery with cross-functional teams (TPMs, Forward Deployed Engineers) to assess workflows, cost structures, data maturity, and AI readiness
- Supporting PRD development and legacy system assessments to scope and size deals
- Executing complex seven-figure TCV deals in compressed timelines
- Multi-threaded executive engagement across C-suite (CEO, CFO, CIO, COO, CDO) and functional leaders
- Developing tools and agents that enhance sales efficiency and enable business operations at scale
- Evangelizing 8090 through executive workshops, industry events, and analyst engagement
Required qualifications:
- 5-10 years of enterprise sales experience selling large-scale SaaS, data, or AI transformation programs
- Proven track record closing seven-figure TCV deals with complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Founder-like mindset with high bias for action, persistence, and comfort with ambiguity
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives (CIOs, CFOs, COOs)
- Genuine curiosity about one or two target verticals
- Strong commercial instincts, deal-craft skills, and comfort with pricing/negotiation
- Working fluency in AI/LLM concepts and software development lifecycle
- Full-stack sales orientation with willingness to roll up sleeves and build
