As a Medicare Sales Representative, you will own the entire prospective beneficiary lifecycle, from lead generation and relationship building through enrollment and ongoing account management. Your primary responsibilities include:
• Execute daily outbound calling campaigns to prospective Medicare beneficiaries, qualifying interest and eligibility while securing appointments
• Conduct in-person visits to provider clinics in Los Angeles and Orange County to meet with beneficiaries
• Apply consultative sales techniques to understand individual needs, present Medicare plan options, address objections, and close sales both remotely and face-to-face
• Guide beneficiaries through the education and enrollment application process
• Develop relationships with provider organizations and clinics to create community-based sales and marketing opportunities
• Maintain accurate reporting on business activities, productivity metrics, forecasting, and sales analysis
• Attend daily and weekly team meetings to report on production metrics and collaborate with colleagues
• Stay current on competitor landscape and market dynamics
• Answer product and service questions professionally and promptly
You'll need a minimum of two years of successful Medicare telesales, telemarketing, or customer service experience in a call center environment with Medicare product knowledge. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, or business administration; proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot), health plan portals, and Microsoft Office; current knowledge of CMS regulations governing Medicare marketing and enrollment; and completion of product/benefits training and CMS-required certifications. You must be willing to travel throughout the service area and work as an independent self-starter within a team environment.
