DTX Pharma (a Novartis Company) is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the Cardiovascular therapeutic area, based in the Greater Boston, Cape Cod, and Islands of Massachusetts territory. This is a field-based, customer-facing, non-promotional medical and scientific role focused on advancing clinical practice and improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and build professional relationships with Healthcare Providers (HCPs), including community physicians, pharmacists, medical experts, nurses, and thought leaders across the assigned geography. - Engage customers on emerging clinical data, clinical trial activities, disease state education, product information, adverse event capture, and medical insights across all stages of the product lifecycle. - Develop strategic territory vision through identification of key stakeholders, mapping of medical engagements and key accounts aligned with medical strategy. - Identify partnership opportunities with academic centers, centers of excellence, and systems of care to drive therapeutic impact. - Provide clinical trial support for company-sponsored trials, facilitating medical activities and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations. - Collaborate internally with colleagues in HEOR, access, marketing, commercial, and sales to advance clinical practice while maintaining compliance standards. - Maintain in-depth knowledge of the cardiovascular therapeutic area and Novartis compounds to serve as a medical resource. - Execute administrative responsibilities including CRM management (Veeva), compliance training, expense reporting, and customer profiling. - Champion emerging responsibilities as strategic priorities and territory needs evolve. - Proactively drive personal and professional development. Required Qualifications: - Graduate degree in science or healthcare (doctoral degree preferred: MD, PhD, DNP, PharmD, etc.) - For Manager level: 0–3 years of field medical or MSL experience in pharma, OR 3–5 years of relevant medical affairs, clinical research, or related scientific/clinical experience. - Strong clinical knowledge including pharmacotherapy, treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, medical expert engagement strategies, and FDA promotional/ethical guidelines. - Must reside within territory or within reasonable daily commuting distance (50 miles). - Adherence to Novartis Code of Conduct, Ethics/Compliance policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
