As Martech Director, you will own the complete technical and operational infrastructure of Polymarket's lifecycle marketing program. This is a hands-on leadership role where you serve as the primary technical authority for the martech stack, campaign orchestration, data pipelines, and operational standards—without dependency on a separate engineering team for day-to-day execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering the full martech stack (configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, deployment) across acquisition, retention, and reactivation tracks
- Building and maintaining campaign orchestration logic, evolving toward fully automated, AI-assisted execution
- Managing integrations between martech systems and upstream data pipelines, partnering with the central data team on segmentation and customer data
- Auditing and maintaining CRM data hygiene, ensuring accurate segmentation inputs and clear operational boundaries
- Translating capability gaps into a prioritized roadmap with build-vs-buy recommendations
- Setting and enforcing operational standards, QA processes, deployment governance, and experimentation cadence for the retention program
You'll be joining at a critical inflection point where operational infrastructure directly impacts growth. The role requires someone who has built and owned similar engines before and can stabilize current systems, eliminate technical debt, and architect a forward-looking stack that scales with the business.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in marketing automation, martech, or CRM operations with hands-on technical ownership; proven experience with data pipelines and integrations in martech contexts; deep platform administration across major marketing automation and CRM tools; experience setting operational and QA standards for mature lifecycle programs; architectural thinking about martech stacks and build-vs-buy decisions; clear instincts about data ownership and cross-functional collaboration. Bonus: hands-on experience with AI or programmatic personalization in lifecycle programs.
