OpenAI's Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for Partner Marketing to help shape and execute the partnership strategy for a new hardware product ecosystem. This is a strategic, relationship-oriented role focused on identifying high-potential partners, understanding their priorities, and developing durable go-to-market plans that drive adoption of OpenAI's AI-powered devices. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, and partner-facing teams to define how first-, second-, and third-party partners participate in the hardware ecosystem. Key responsibilities include crafting and implementing partnership strategy, identifying and evaluating potential partners for various partner programs, building and maintaining strong partner relationships, and understanding partner business models and constraints to advocate internally. You will lead the commercial marketing aspects of partnerships, including positioning, launch strategy, sales enablement, and joint marketing plans. You'll manage partner execution for product launches, campaigns, and go-to-market efforts, develop partner narratives and messaging, and monitor partner performance and market feedback to continuously improve programs. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in product marketing, partner marketing, business development marketing, or ecosystem marketing, with proven success building or scaling partner programs in consumer hardware, platforms, or emerging technology categories. You should be highly relationship-oriented, able to translate partner needs and customer insights into clear positioning and commercial programs, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where strategy and product are being built in parallel. Strong cross-functional leadership, business judgment across marketing and sales models, and excellent communication skills are essential.
