Ashby is seeking a Marketing Strategy & Operations Manager to build and own the technical and analytical foundation for their rapidly scaling marketing organization. You'll be the dedicated marketing ops hire, responsible for implementing campaign tracking systems, designing marketing automation workflows, and building dashboards that measure pipeline generation and customer acquisition cost across Ashby's expanding product portfolio (ATS, HRIS, Onboarding). Key responsibilities include: implementing UTM parameter tracking and lead source attribution in HubSpot; designing and executing complex marketing automation workflows; building dashboards covering SEO, website analytics, lead generation, and campaign effectiveness; delivering regular performance reports with data-driven insights; operating as part of the Revenue Operations organization to align Marketing, RevOps, and Business Systems teams; developing data governance frameworks and segmentation strategies; ensuring GDPR and CCPA compliance; acting as subject matter expert on lead management and automation; and collaborating with the Systems team on tech stack improvements. You'll work closely with the VP of Marketing and leadership team in near-daily collaboration, embedded in day-to-day tracking and campaign systems while also shaping how Marketing measures success as the company scales into new products, segments, and channels. Required qualifications: 7+ years in marketing strategy, operations, or strategic planning; SQL knowledge and data manipulation experience; strong business acumen and understanding of marketing metrics; advanced expertise in marketing automation tools; analytical skills with data visualization experience; understanding of marketing automation, lead management, and attribution; experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics); knowledge of data privacy regulations. Nice-to-have skills include business intelligence tools (Heap, Looker), project management experience, and API/webhook integration experience. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with no team to delegate to. You should be comfortable diagnosing ambiguous problems, setting KPIs, and owning the full technical stack end-to-end rather than focusing on a single channel.
