Zopa Bank is seeking a Marketing Operations Lead to build and scale a world-class marketing operation that supports ambitious growth plans. This hybrid role (2-3 days/week in London office) sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, requiring someone who can translate business and product strategy into integrated marketing plans while creating operational clarity across the function.
You will act as the connective tissue between Marketing leadership, Product, and the wider business. Key responsibilities include: partnering with Product Marketing to align activity to commercial outcomes; owning end-to-end planning and orchestration of major campaigns and product launches across Marketing, Comms, Growth, Product, Finance, Legal and Compliance; serving as the operational hub that creates clarity around priorities, capacity, dependencies, timelines, budgets and delivery milestones; aligning campaign objectives and media plans with channel owners; embedding Marketing effectively in cross-functional product planning; anticipating risks and dependencies; maintaining commercial discipline over Marketing investment and budgets; and partnering with internal creative teams and external agencies to ensure high-quality delivery.
The ideal candidate brings significant experience in marketing, campaign management, marketing operations or programme leadership, with a proven track record leading complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution. You understand the broader marketing ecosystem (PR, social, ATL, paid media, partnerships, CRM, web, app, lifecycle) and how these disciplines create impact. You have meaningful experience briefing and steering external agencies, are commercially minded with budget and forecast management skills, and naturally think several steps ahead to spot dependencies and anticipate needs. You move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, communicate excellently, and thrive in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments. Experience in scaled, product-led businesses is highly desirable; fintech or regulated industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
