Base Power is rebuilding America's electrical grid through distributed battery networks. The company is hiring a Marketing Manager to own customer acquisition strategy and execution across offline and digital channels. In this role, you will drive Base's growth engine by owning acquisition targets and the channel mix needed to hit them. You'll plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across direct mail, digital, and other channels while maintaining clear accountability for cost-per-acquisition, response rates, and downstream conversion metrics. Key responsibilities include: building and managing acquisition campaigns from creative development through vendor management and production; designing and running rigorous A/B tests on formats, messaging, offers, and targeting; collaborating with design to develop compelling creative; translating performance data into prioritization decisions; and working cross-functionally with design, sales, and product teams to align growth efforts with market expansion plans. You'll bring hands-on growth marketing experience with demonstrated success owning acquisition campaigns in consumer or consumer-adjacent businesses. You understand campaign operations deeply—production workflows, vendor management, list sourcing, segmentation, and testing at scale. You combine creative instincts with data fluency, caring equally about what customers see and the metrics behind it. You're comfortable working cross-functionally, translating growth goals into clear execution, and operating in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities shift quickly. Base operates with a lean, high-ownership marketing team focused on results and rapid iteration. The company emphasizes first-principles thinking, speed of execution, direct feedback, and mission-driven work. This is an in-person role in Austin where the team works intensively to build the next-generation power company.
