You will lead Wave's marketing efforts in Niamey, overseeing both Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies aligned with Wave's growth objectives, planning and executing ATL campaigns (TV, radio, print) and BTL activities (events, promotions, on-ground activations), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive user acquisition and brand awareness.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop ATL and BTL marketing strategies that support Wave's growth targets
- Plan, execute, and oversee all media and activation campaigns
- Manage external agency and partner relationships
- Monitor campaign performance using data analytics and optimize strategies based on insights
- Provide regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team
You bring 6+ years of marketing experience with proven success managing both ATL and BTL campaigns in sectors like telecom, payments, FMCG, or financial services. You are a KPI-driven marketer with strong project management skills, analytical capabilities, and excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities. You have experience working with external agencies and possess strong people leadership skills. Fluency in French, English, and a local language is required. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field is required.
