ModMed is seeking a Marketing Events Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute a portfolio of trade shows, conferences, customer events, and internal events that support the organization's marketing and business objectives. In this role, you will manage event logistics from conception through execution, including registration, housing, transportation, food and beverage, audiovisual, shipping, signage, and on-site staffing. You will develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and production schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact during assigned events. You will coordinate with venues, vendors, agencies, and external partners to secure services and negotiate contracts. Budget management is a key responsibility—you will track event budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and expenses while identifying cost-saving opportunities. You will partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer success, product, and executive stakeholders to support event objectives. This includes coordinating event deliverables such as branding, promotional materials, booth assets, and attendee communications, as well as supporting sponsorship fulfillment and partner activations. You will maintain event documentation, standard operating procedures, and project management systems, track event metrics including attendance, leads, engagement, and ROI, and conduct post-event evaluations with recommendations for process improvements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to travel approximately 30% of the time, primarily on weekends, based on business needs. Requirements: - 2–5 years of experience in event marketing, trade shows, conferences, or corporate events - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills - Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively - Initiative and follow-through skills with special attention to detail - Ability to travel 30% of the time, primarily on weekends, based on business needs
